QA-as-a-Service Offering
Defined and launched a productized QA service line: scoped retainers, repeatable onboarding, and a reporting stack that turns automation coverage into a metric clients buy on. Five new client engagements in the first year.
- Playwright
- TypeScript
- Azure DevOps
- Docker
- Power BI
Highlights
- Five new client engagements in the first year of the offering.
- Productized onboarding cut average time-to-first-test-run from 6 weeks to under 2.
- Coverage and flake metrics surface in a Power BI report clients can subscribe to.
Overview
A detailed write-up of this engagement is in progress. In the meantime, the description above and the highlights captured the headline results.
What I built
- Scoped retainers with clear deliverables, so prospects know exactly what they're buying before the first call.
- A repeatable onboarding kit (CI templates, reporting harness, playbook docs) that turns the first 2 weeks of every engagement into a tee-up rather than a build-from-scratch.
- A reporting stack — Playwright artifacts piped into Azure DevOps, aggregated into a Power BI workspace — that makes test coverage and flake rate visible to non-engineering stakeholders.
